A little bit more pricey than the previously reviewed tablets, featuring 16 GB (only!) of internal storage space, equipped with a (low quality) 0.3 MP front camera,
but the worst (or best if you like smaller devices) part it has to offer is the smaller screen than most of its competitors; 9.4 inches. Rest assured that the resolution is fortunately like most 10.1 inches, that is 1280×800 pixels. Obviously, Sony didn’t manufacture this tablet with the intention to make it have all-rounder specs, but it was clearly a to make it be compatible with the Playstation Suite and make money off the buyable games. The Playstation Suite is a software support that enables Playstation Certified devices (in this case the Sony S tablet and also the PS Vita) to download PSone games from its store. And how much games are currently available right now? Less fingers that can be found on two human hands. The rest of the specs found on the tablet are pretty same as the usual ones found on the market today; Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 based on the Nvidia Tegra 2 ARM architecture, 1GB of RAM, rear 5 MP camera that can also record videos in 720p at 30 FPS, and it runs on Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
Sony SGPT111 Internet Tablet S
Motorola Xoom
The word xoom is defined as a large Internet site that offers a variety of free services (email, chat, web site hosting, software downloads, etc.) But can this tablet redefine what was once a xoom? With 32GB of user storage space plus the another 32GB with the help of a MicroSD card, its certainly quite enough to be the host of all the applications that are going to be installed on the Android OS v3.0 (Honeycomb). With a 5MP camera at the rear which records videos in 720p at 30 FPS and a 2MP at the front, video chatting will certainly be clearer for your contacts, compared to the VGA camera that most people have on their laptops today. The screen size, CPU, GPU and RAM are the same as the two other tablets previously reviewed, that is the Nvidia Tegra 2, which includes both Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, the ULP GeForce graphics processing unit and 1GB DDR2 of RAM . The only thing that may really encourage people to buy this tablet as opposed to others is definitely the 3G. But you will only be able to use the 3G network to access the internet, not to make regular phone calls or send text messages. The usual Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n is still present and turning the tablet into a hotspot hasn’t been forgotten. The other things you’ll find on this tablet are the Bluetooth 2.1, an HDMI and a microUSB port, integrated loudspeakers and a standard Li-Ion battery that can last for about 10 hours in HD video playback.

This tablet can be considered to be the main competitor of the Asus Eee pad Transformer because they both have pretty similar specs. The main differences lie only with the absence of a keyboard dock and the 2MP front camera that this one have. The rest is pretty same; 5 MP pixel rear camera, 10” WXGA 1280×800 screen, Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor with the integrated Tegra 2 T20 GeForce GPU, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 32 GB eMMC storage, microSD slot up to 32 GB. On the connectivity side there’s one USB 2.0 port and one micro USB 2.0, one HDMI port, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR + A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot. The operating system is still the Android OS, v3.0 (Honeycomb) but has the option of upgrading it to v3.2. Other stuff included are the integrated stereo loud speakers but you can still plug in a headphone into the 3.5mm jack.

Looking for a tablet? Well, stop seeking cause you just found it. This piece of hardware is equipped with a small 10.1 inches but a high 1280×800 resolution screen (10 inches screen usually have a 1024×600 resolution) and the CPU is the same found on the iPad2, that is the Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9.
Note that the screen a LED-backlit IPS LCD with multi-touch, capacitive touchscreen and that it has a 178⁰ viewing angle made from scratch resistant and super tough glass.
The graphics chipset is a GeForce Tegra T20 and it should play all games fine on the Android OS v3.0 (Honeycomb). The 16 GB of storage is not from a hard disk, but from something called the Embedded MultiMediaCard (eMMC) and the RAM is of 1GB.
And if the 16GB eMMC storage is not enough you can still expand it with a 32GB microSD card.
There’s two cameras, a 1.2MP on the front and a 5MP at the rear. One thing that may discourage buyers from getting this tablet is the absence 3G support, but you can still connect a modem on one of the two USB 2.0 ports, or use the integrated Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n to connect to a wireless network.
The life of the 24.4Wh Li-Polymer Battery is of 9.5 hours and 16.5 hours connected to the dock (that keyboard and touchpad thing). Other specifications: Bluetooth 2.1 and mini HDMI port.
